Creatures of The Spillwilds

For thirty years, I have devoted my life to gathering knowledge of The Spillwilds and its inhabitants. My journeys have taken me to remote villages, to the libraries of distant cities, and to the hearths of those who have encountered its mysteries firsthand. What began as scholarly curiosity has become my life's purpose - to document what others have seen but few have studied.

This volume represents thousands of leagues traveled, countless conversations with hunters, traders, displaced villagers, and the occasional foolhardy explorer. I have collected sketches made with trembling hands, examined specimens preserved in salt and spirits, and recorded testimonies from those still haunted by their encounters. Each account has been meticulously cross-referenced and verified to the extent possible when dealing with such elusive subjects.

It is my hope that this volume serves not merely to satisfy curiosity, but to preserve life. Knowledge is our greatest defense and weapon against that which we do not understand.
